One of my favorite photos from a commission project was a reclining hug between father and son. I wanted to do an ink sketch to study the composition. In the end I used this study in order to create the final larger painting. You can read "Father's Day Artwork" to see the finished painting that resulted from this sketch.
Each Friday at noon I scan in one new sketch or drawing from one of my many sketchbooks.
