Hero Cat: Sketchbook Friday

Hero Cat! The protagonist of this issue, when he puts on the gas mask his arm transforms into a chainsaw. I was trying to figure out how he should look. Skinny neck? Big eyes? How strong? Paws vs hands?

Character design studies for the comic book/zine being released at the Coast city Comic Con this year. This is part of a series of sketches that are being released for fans of the comic to browse as insight into how certain character were created.

Each Friday at noon I scan in one new sketch or drawing from one of my many sketchbooks.
