Urban Shaman Project

Urban Shaman Project:
solo show by Benjamin Flint

Ben Flint is a good friend of mine I met through the art world, he runs the Bahkti Gallery in Munkabeans only a few blocks from my Billy and the Old Man shop in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Together we have helped promote each others' shows, traded artists, and musical talents and much more. By the way, Munkabeans has one of the best vegetarian sandwiches I've ever had, so if you are in downtown Hopkins check them out.

Ben creates very holistic and spiritual paintings, of which I really enjoy. He has over 50 works of art up on my gallery walls as we speak, and he has more coming. I am very excited to give him his first gallery style solo exhibition. All the details of the show are as follows:

Friday, June 13th Billy and the Old Man Design is excited to present to you Benjamin Flint's: Urban Shaman Project. Benjamin Flint's first all encompassing solo exhibition. Over 40 paintings, drawings and mixed media works on display. Live music, food & a shamanic healing demonstation. The show features another super performance by local musician: Cronkite Satellite (Ryan Simonet). This is our second to last art show, since we are moving locations at the end of June.

This art show is also supported by: Urban Artist Initiative

Also if you enjoyed this post, make sure to check out our BYOA art show that is open to all artists!

I will also try to make another post with a sampling of Ben's work for the Urban Shaman Project. When you see the samples you are going to want to see this work in person. It is truly great stuff. I will also be doing a post about the BYOA show and the Urban Art Initiative in Minnesota.
