MUSTANG SPIRIT ART HUNT
Find the visual clues here
Come on a fun treasure hunt and find a mustang representing CMHS athletics and then get a free CMHS mustang shirt @ our first football game 9/5 at Davidson Field against CDM. Contact CMHScheer@aol.com with any questions.
The hunt will begin August 30th!
Important rule: only one artwork per family. however, if you find one mustang and want to find more...simply call a friend or another family to join the hunt with you. Help spread the joy of treasure hunting to everyone.
WINNERS GET TO KEEP THE ART! Ten brightly colored and hand drawn miniature Costa Mesa High Mustangs artworks (pictures to be added soon) will be hidden in the public parks of the COSTA MESA HIGH SCHOOL ZONE AREA.. Minneapolis artist William Hessian is creating the art and then sending the artwork to be hidden in public parks of Costa Mesa. Costa Mesa High was chosen for its dedication to the arts and community. The hunt is open to the public and everyone is invited to seek out your local parks and search for these tiny treasures. Each artwork is 1 and a half inches by 1 and a half inches square. The first of daily visual photo clues will be posted on August 30th to help aide those in the search for original Mustang Art. All winners and art hunters are invited to send in pictures to be added to the website.
All clues are photographs of the artwork in its hiding places, feel free to print pictures to take on your hunt- photo clues will be on WWW.Williamhessian.com look under art hunts and then mustang hunt
Saturday = hard clues Sunday = medium clues Monday = easy clues (if necessary)
Since the Costa Mesa Mustang art hunt is a grass roots independent art project it relies heavily on word of mouth. Please help and pass on the dates and times to friends, families, children, schoolmates, teachers, park enthusiasts & anyone else that might be interested in joining in the hunt.
Please show your support for Art as Treasure, self representing artists, bring the joy of art to thousands of people and help fund artwork in the parks, by donating (using the Paypal links at the top and bottom of this page or by mail). Find out how to receive a free bearded bunny art print for your donation. (If you have found a hidden artwork, or have questions or comments please contact: William.hessian@gmail.com)
