The Old Website needs new Digs

I need your help.

It's been a decade since I opened William Hessian dot com. When I finished college in 2004 and the following year I build a very html intensive website to feature my work. I loaded it with all my current paintings at the time and put together a few galleries. I am sure most of you have been here, it looks like this:

I have been trying for years to figure out how to change my website to be a littme more user friendly. I want to make sure the viewer can access my work, and find all the things they are looking for. I need some help from you. How can I make my website more appealing to you.

I could redo the entire design, since the design is based on a theme or style I was using ten years ago. I originally liked the idea of random images on my main page to entice viewers to see old project or events, but often times this led to confusion and e-mails asking me how they could find that page again. I have really heavy traffic during art hunts, in which my site generates thousands of hits while people log on to search for clues to find miniature art. The site has worked. But I think I need to rethink what my site is doing for me, and what I want it to do for me. Then I need to figure out how to maximize my site.

I know I want to keep the design simple and crisp. I want as few words as I can get away with. I do want their to be a better system of navigation or database of all the content available on my website. I also want my website to link up harmoniously with my blog.

If you have a few minutes to look over my artist website, and let me know what changes you would like to see. That would be a great benefit to me. And if not, sit back and see how long it takes me to actually make some changes. Hopefully not another decade.

I guess this would be perfect for me to have. As an artist.
